5th Grade Treasure Map Lesson

treasure map.jpg
It's treasure map time!  Follow along with the video or just use the handouts to create your own treasure map.  Use any medium you have at home to finish it such as crayons, watercolor or colored pencil.  To make it look aged try using a cup of cold coffee or tea as water color to get an aged brown look!
Another idea would be to draw a map of your house or yard and hide a small treasure for someone to find with the map.  Have fun and keep creating!
