2nd Grade Lessons

The Dancing Cow

This Lesson was inspired by the book "Giraffes can't dance" by Giles Andreae, illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees. Since we don't see any giraffes here in Wisconsin, (except at the zoo) I thought it would be fun to have one of Wisconsin's most famous animals dancing instead.  The focus of this lesson is creating the look of movement on a flat piece of paper by the way we use lines and shapes.  Be creative and don't forget to send me the finished project!
